IMPORTANT! To avoid overlap and confusion with the writing events organised by the Lux Writers Who Talk once a month in the evening at BNL, the Shut Up & Write session on that particular day will not take place. Welcome! Luxembourg-based but English speaking. Join us for 1.5 hours of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. Once done, we will all go up to the third floor and try to work in silence. Question : Oh no! I’m late, how will I ever find you? Answer : First of all, stay calm and, for the love of all that is holy, do not call the authorities or, in your panic, activate any fire alarms. Instead, send me a message via this platform or email me: Author@benjaminwuyts.com and I’ll tell you where we are. Question : What happens after? Answer : At 19:50 there will be an announcement saying that the library will close in 10 minutes. We slowly make our way down, have a chat, and (I will at least) go home. And that’s that. Simple! Question : Can I come earlier? Answer : Yes! I will always be there at around 16:30 so you could always join me. Send me a message, but keep in mind that at that time it is very busy and sitting close to one another might not be possible. It really starts calming down around 18:00. Question : Can I just walk in with my bag? Answer : Nope! There are baskets to put your stuff and bottles of water in. All the rest goes in a locker. To close and open it, press C followed by four numbers and end with the key button. Also, take a picture of your locker number and test it before putting your stuff in. Question: Do I need a card or something? Answer: No. A card is only for books, printing, etc. It is not needed to enter the library or to use the lockers. Other important details: 1. First time? Don’t be afraid! Everyone is welcome! 🙂 2. Keep in mind that this is a library. That means no talking. 3. I don't always see comments or messages in time, so apologies if I don't immediately respond.
