Every Wednesday at 7 pm CET , I host a free 90-minute in-person writing session at Orinoco Books in Duisburg, Wallstraße 19, a cute second-hand, multilingual bookstore and library. It’s fun; it’s free and open to all genders, languages, and genres. We speak English, German, French and Spanish. Join me and the thriving Shut Up & Write community to get your writing done. Easy as 1, 2, 3: Register and RSVP to this meeting, to join the party. Register ahead of time to attend; seats are limited! Show up a little earlier so we can start at 7pm sharp. After a short introduction with saying ‘Hello!’, getting set, and telling each other what we each will be working on, the clock starts ticking and we ‘shut up & write‘! After 60 minutes we gather and tell each other how our individual session went. Important: We don’t share about our content, we don’t do critiques, we don’t read aloud, and we don’t tolerate distractions. It is just an hour of focused writing. If you like, stick around after the session to socialize and make new connections with your fellow writers. Looking forward to writing with you!
