Every Friday at 18:30 (6:30 pm), we meet at Abuelos by the seaside in Peraia, a suburb of Thessaloniki to write for one full hour without interruptions!💗 Please go through the description before attending. Thank you 🌱 What this group is not: ❌a workshop ❌ a class ❌ a critique group ❌ a read-aloud group What this group is: ✔️a productive writing hour ✔️a place to meet fellow writers and creatives ✔️a dedicated one-hour session of pure writing ✔️a supportive and safe space for all THE DETAILS 🐚🌊🪼 Let's get together for some focused time to write whatever we want! All levels are welcome , no prior experience needed. You just show up, take a seat at our table, get out your laptop, your notes, or anything else, and just shut up and... write! You don't need to be a professional or academic writer; we welcome anyone who just wants to get some work done with other creatives! Abuelos is a favorite coffee/brunch/eating spot in Peraia, Eastern Thessaloniki. It's spacious and comfortable and can be reached by bus 72, and, during the summer months, the boat that goes directly to the small Peraia port from the city center, connecting Aghia Triada and Neoi Epivates. The session will be led in English but all languages are welcome! 💘 ABOUT THE FORMAT 🦭🐟🪢 1️⃣When you show up, say hello to everyone 👋, grab a drink☕️, and get your writing tools ready. 2️⃣We will start promptly at 18:45 pm, where I will lead a quick introduction and then set the timer ⏳️for our quiet and focused writing session. 3️⃣We will have one hour of uninterrupted writing 🤫. We will then close the session with 15 minutes of debrief. You are welcome to share your writing or any difficulties you've encountered; it's all optional. If you are late, not to worry! Just sit quietly, and we'll chat after the session; please try not to interrupt 😄 Afterward, we’ll have time to chat and get to know each other. If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries! We don’t host critiques or readings. These events are a safe space for writers of all skill levels and genres to work on their craft, so no one will read or critique your writing.
