This is a special session in lieu of the usual event on Thursday Mornings in Tomigaya, while that venue is closed. Join us in person for 90 minutes of productive writing at breadworks, a bakery-cafe-deli by Tokyo Bay. We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers, in silence together. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. セッションの最初と最後には、参加者同士の任意的な交流があります。執筆は非常に孤独な作業です。他の作家と交流（時には共感し合うこと）を持つことは、素晴らしいことです。 Being late is okay. Just show up and get settled – we'll be left of the entrance – ordering is in the middle – then check in with me after the session. Some members have also used the time to draw, read or do bounded research. 執筆に必要なものは十分！ Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to listen to your own music or block out background noise or music playing in the cafe. ご自身の音楽を聴きたい方、又はカフェ内で流れている音楽を遮断したい方は、イヤホンまたは耳栓をご持参下さい。 If you're writing on your laptop, be sure it's fully charged, as there's no guarantee you'll have an outlet nearby (at the discretion of café staff). ノートパソコンで執筆される場合は、近くにコンセントがあるとは限りませんので、必ず充電済んでしてください。 Other Memos・その他 The venue is entirely accessible. 会場は段差のない場所です。 Please be prepared to order a beverage and/or snack to thank our hosts and support an independent business. Order at the counter once you pick your seat. Please let me know if this is an issue. The space has one type of seating (backed wooden chairs) and desk-height tables. If you have specific accommodations do let me know and we can figure something out. The café has free wi-fi, but please refrain from calls, downloading, uploading and/or streaming large, high quality content.
