If you repeatedly misgender the host or other attendees, you will be removed from the Zoom session and permanently banned from the group. All participants must RSVP to the Shut Up and Write! session they'd like to attend. This minimizes trolls and other unwanted guests from hopping onto Zoom. All participants must arrive at least five minutes before the first and second writing hours to minimize distractions. BY JOINING THIS GROUP, YOU AGREE TO THE AFOREMENTIONED RULES AND SHALL ABIDE BY THEM SO LONG AS YOU ARE IN THIS GROUP. *** Hey, there! Nice to meet you. I'm Karen A. Parker (they/them), and I'm a BIPOC Buddhist book coach and speculative fiction author who hosts two-hour Shut Up & Write! sessions every other Tuesday. If this sounds good to you, then feel free to show up, sit down, and get words on the page. No critiques. No sharing. No pressure. Just focused writing and/or working time alongside others doing the same. After the session or during check-ins, you're welcome to stick around to chat, connect, and build your writing community.
