That is for hosts only. As you can see, the Jitsi platform is similar to Zoom. You DO NOT need an account to access a Jitsi meeting room. We officially start check ins 10 minutes after to get everyone settled in. When you join the meeting, the Jitsi mic, camera, and chat buttons are at the bottom of the screen on a toolbox. SUAW Info: Join fellow writers each week to show up, sit down, and get words on the page. No critiques. No sharing. No pressure. Just focused writing time alongside others doing the same. After the session, you're welcome to stick around to chat, connect, and build your writing community. Wherever you are in your project, you're not doing it alone—this is your space to write. Session Info: I'll be double checking names and the attendee list to see if they match so it'll take me some time to let you join the meeting. Don't worry about being late. Life happens. If you need to leave the session early, feel free to do so and answer the check out question in the chat. Check out question is "How did your session go?" I'll read your check out during check out with everyone else at the end of the session. Please take breaks as needed. Take a bio break, water break, food break, coffee break, or tea break. Schedule (in Pacific Standard Time or PST) 7:55 PM PST -- Meeting link is available. 8:10 PM PST to 8:20 PM PST -- 5 to 10 minutes of introductions. Feel free to do intros in the chat. (This depends on the amount of people in the group.) 8:20 PM PST -- Host mutes everyone and starts timer. Cameras on or off depending on your preference. 10:30 PM PST -- Silent writing/working time ends. 10:30 PM PST to 10:40 PM PST -- Check out starts. How did your session go?
