Join us at Picturehouse Chester to give dedicated time to your writing practice. Whatever your writing project is, it's welcome in our group. Perhaps you're working on a novel, or writing a short story or a collection of poetry. Maybe there's a deadline at work you really need to meet and you need to focus. This is the space for you. How it'll work When you arrive, grab a drink or a snack and get settled in our meeting space. We'll do some brief introductions on who we are and what we're working, then we'll get into focused work for 60 minutes. We're keen to build a writing community in Chester, so please do come along to be part of something! Schedule 10:30 am Welcome & settling in. Grab a drink and get comfy. 11:00 am We write for 60 minutes in silence to help develop your writing practice. 12:00 We finish up the focused hour. For those that want to stay for longer, you can. What to bring with you Your writing equipment + any chargers you need (It's best to arrive with a fully charged laptop, if you're using one) Headphones if you need to switch background noise off ☕ Help out our lovely venue by buying a coffee or snack from the bar (they've given us the space for free!)
