Start your weekend with aromatic coffee or tea and two hours of focused writing in good company. We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with others. See if it’s true for you this Saturday at 10:30. A book, blog, script, essay, journal, dissertation, resume, song, poem, or just plain work stuff: it doesn't matter what you are writing, come and write it with us. And don’t worry, no one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. This time, we will meet at Douwe Egberts Café (Brugstraat 28), also called "your second living room in Groningen". SCHEDULE: 10:30 - We meet inside Douwe Egberts Café . Please be on time. 10:40 - Quick intros: your name, writing project, and writing intentions for today's session. 10:45 - I'll set the timer for 2 hours of focused writing . 12:45 - Join the wrap-up 🗣️🗣️🗣️, keep writing, or leave. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens after the focused writing session. Writing is very solitary, and connecting with other writers is a cool thing. Staying for the wrap-up is entirely up to you: you can keep writing or leave instead. I look forward to writing with you ✍🏾. WHAT DO YOU NEED? Whatever you need to be able to write. Bring earbuds/earplugs if this helps you concentrate. Please come with your laptops/tablets/iPads precharged.
