WVU Graduate Writing Community is a virtual Shut Up & Write group designed to support graduate students in developing consistent and sustainable writing practices. Whether you are brainstorming ideas, drafting course assignments, working on comprehensive exams, or making progress on a thesis or dissertation, you are welcome here. Our sessions provide a structured but low-pressure environment where graduate students can write alongside peers, build accountability, and connect with a supportive community of scholars. While the group is initially focused on students in the School of Education and Counseling, all WVU graduate students are welcome to participate. No critiques. No pressure. Just dedicated writing time and a community that understands the challenges of graduate-level writing.
