Lulu’s Writing Room is a bi-monthly virtual writers’ room created for people who want to make regular space for their words—and for themselves. Twice a month, we gather for 90 minutes of quiet, uninterrupted writing time with other writers. Bring the novel you've been working on. The memoir you've been meaning to begin. The poems sitting in a notebook. The essay that keeps following you around. The journal you've neglected. Or bring a blank page. You decide what you want to write. There are no prompts. No assignments. No required reading. No manuscript critiques. No pressure to produce something brilliant. Lulu’s Writing Room is simply a dedicated space to sit down and write . We're here to protect the time in which you can find out for yourself. Writers at every stage are welcome. You don't need a manuscript. You don't need a writing degree. You don't need to have anything figured out. You just need something you want to put on the page.
