Join fellow writers each week to show up, sit down, and get words on the page. No critiques. No sharing. No pressure. Just focused writing time alongside others doing the same. After the session, you're welcome to stick around to chat, connect, and build your writing community. Wherever you are in your project, you're not doing it alone—this is your space to write. We usually start with a 15-minute check-in, break out for 50 minutes of writing, come back together for progress sharing and second coffees, then another 50 minutes of writing. You'll find us in the foyer of the National Library of Australia, on the black couches by the entry to Bookplate cafe. On days when the cafe is particularly noisy, we often split up to write in quieter areas such as the Friends Lounge or the downstairs study area, then reconvene at the cafe for check-ins.
