Hey, LI writers! This group is run by a quirky, millennial, academic who needs community, coffee, and accountability. Open to adult writers of any kind (academic, creative, journalers, professionals, hobbyists...), non-discriminatory, and queer friendly. Join fellow writers each week to show up, grab a bev, and get words on the page. This is not a critique group and there will be no sharing (but if you're looking for that, you're free to seek out critique partners outside of our official group mtgs!). This is just focused writing time alongside others doing the same. Informal, chill vibes. After the sessions, you're welcome to stick around to chat, connect, and build your writing community.
